Although I’m not an American, I also felt outraged at seeing the Roe v Wade news. Apart from getting involved in politics, donating to pro-choice/human rights organizations, and advocating where I can, I feel like my options to effect change are limited—and that can be discouraging. But expression through writing does offer some hope; at the very least, it offers an outlet for all of the difficult and complex emotions. And every now and then, maybe it’ll resonate with a person or two, just like your writing has.

To that end, I hope you’re able to keep on writing while also taking care of yourself!
